Unique Grandparent Gifts
Here at Your Praying Friend seniors are very near and dear to our hearts.
Whether Christmas, birthday or Grandparent's Day we often find found ourselves wracking our brains trying to think of what to purchase for our own elderly loved ones.
If your grandparents are anything like ours - they tend to have all that they need and don't truly desire another knick knack or throw blanket (although those are nice gifts).
Give something special and meaningful instead.
Give the gift of friendship through our senior pen pal service!
This idea was inspired by my own grandmother, who has the most beautiful penmanship ever and is always sending the most unique and kindly worded cards.
For $30 Your Praying Friend will ship a beautiful box of stationary similar to this one to your loved one. That's a 50% savings that comes out to only $5 a month for your unique and thoughtful gift!
Included in the box they will receive a beautiful stationary set and a hand written information card explaining the pen pal process as follows:
Hello to our new friend!
We look forward to connecting with you through the ageless art of letter writing.
We hope that you are doing well and enjoy this thoughtful gift from your loved one.
Please use the self addressed envelope to correspond with your new pen pal.
Let's get to know one another!
What's your name? Where are you from? How old are you?
What are your current or past hobbies?
Share as little or as much as you would like.
Don't forget to include your return address on the envelope so we can write you back.

Senior Pen Pal Service
HOW IT WORKS
For your $30 donation Your Praying Friend will send a letter twice a month for 6 months.
If you are unsure of whether or not your loved one would be interested in a pen pal friendship rest assured that whether or not they correspond they will enjoy receiving handwritten cards each month letting them know that they are being thought of, they are valued, they are not forgotten and someone is praying for them.
Whether they are home alone or in a care facility or just separated from the younger generations by technology, receiving mail is often times the highlight of a senior's day.
Just as many of us look forward to a notification on our phone - seniors have the same excitement when they receive a card in the mail.
Gifts for Anyone
This unique gift is appreciated by so many. Think of your elderly neighbors, your relatives that live far away, your friend that struggles with feelings of loneliness, or your coworker that really enjoys corresponding through cute little notes.
At a time in our country when many people are staying home and/or only interacting online - let's not forget those that aren't so accustomed to that way of life.
Give the gift of kindness and friendship!
This service is 100% voluntary. If for any reason they would like to be removed from our mailing list and do not wish to continue receiving a card from us you can simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time to cancel the service. However, due to the initial cost of the stationary and the nature of this service this is a nonrefundable gift.
At this time we are unable to ship to Hawaii or outside of the United States.
Blessings to you and your loved ones!
