I don't know how it is where you live, but in St. Louis there are rainbow flags in many yards year round; however for the month of June you see them everywhere, all the time. In the windows of businesses, parades in the streets and groups of people riding around on golf carts decked out in rainbow decor.
We all know this can be a controversial topic, even within the Christian community.
Instead of getting into a theological debate I just wanted to kindly remind everyone (myself included) to remember the true meaning of the rainbow.
Sadly, when we see rainbow flags we now tend to associate it with proudly celebrating perverted sexual behavior.
Reclaim the rainbow by intentionally reminding yourself of the real representation -
Let's also remind ourselves to be kind and compassionate.
Just as we want to help those struggling with an addiction, we should also want to help those struggling with same sex attraction.
If you or someone you love is involved in a same sex relationship, struggling with identity, secretly seduced by same sex attraction or even celebrating their homosexual behavior out in the open - there is help available!
