1. Alive by Hillsong Young & Free 

This song is great if you like EDM or House Music. If you're unsure of what either of those are then this probably isn't your style. It's definitely a younger generation vibe, however if you are a Zumba instructor or if you teach a cardio class, add this one to your list. It has the perfect beat to get your body moving!

2. Shackles (Praise You) by Mary Mary 

Mary Mary's Gospel debut single "Shackles" was release on March 7, 2000. Twenty-one years ago! A classic, yet still so relevant. This one has a great perseverance message that encourages you to praise God through every circumstance. If you're feeling like all hope is lost - have a listen! 

3. Graves into Gardens by Elevation Worship ft. Brandon

Granted this one isn't entirely upbeat, but the build up to the chorus is sure to get you in the mood to run or max out on your weights! Speaking from experience, this song has motivated me through many workouts!

4. Holy Water by We the Kingdom

While we're on the path of slow build up with powerful lyrics, we can't skip over this one. If you don't feel the spirit of God upon you during this song - check your pulse! Talk about a soulful song with a strong and impactful message! Convicts my spirit and makes me want to shout! 
Lyrics: "Dead man walking, slave to sin, I want to know about being born again. I need you. Oh God I need you. Take me to the riverside. Take me under, baptize. I need you!"
Listen and feel the presence of the Lord! 

5. Run Devil Run by Crowder

Okay, let's speed it back up! This song is absolutely perfect for a cycling or body pump class! 
During the chorus stand up on your bike and pedal as fast as you can or jog in place during body pump. There are so many options for this song. If you're working out on your own then bump the speed up on the treadmill for the chorus and then back down when it finishes. Great interval workout! 

6. No Longer Slaves by Zach Williams

Beautiful Prison Ministry

Something about watching this video just motivates my workout, makes me want to be a better servant, makes me want to take care of my health so I can care for others, encourages me to make wise choices and to value my freedom. Reminds me to pray for our brothers and sisters that are behind bars. You are not forgotten.
​ What I'm trying to say is - it's inspirational! 

7. Good Morning by Mandisa ft. Toby Mac

This song should be our Monday theme song! Share it with someone to brighten their day!

8. God's Not Dead by Newsboys

"My God's not dead, he's surely alive!" 
Easter is right around the corner. What a great song to celebrate that 
OUR SAVIOR LIVES! 

9. Shake by Mercy Me

Great upbeat song that literally says "move your feet!" 
Get it, girl! (or boy lol) 

10. Til The Day I Die by Toby Mac

If you liked the first song on our list, Alive, you'll like this one by Toby Mac. It has that EDM vibe with some Christian rap mixed in. Have a listen and let us know what you think! 

11. Reason by Unspoken

"He put that hunger in your heart, he put that fire in your soul. When you feel like giving up, when you feel like giving in, his love is the reason to keep believing."
A mild beat with motivational lyrics! Great for a power walk or that extra push you need at the end of your workout to encourage you not to give up!

12. Happy Dance by Mercy Me

If you watch a few of Mercy Me's videos you'll see that they like to have a good time and not take themselves too seriously. This song is the prime example of how you can have fun and praise God at the same time!

This could be another Monday theme song. 
When the struggles of this week try to get you down just look them square in the face and tell them "There ain't nothin' gonna steal my joy!"

13. Bulletproof by Citizen Way

I dare you to listen to this song and keep from bobbing your head. These lyrics make you feel like you can take on the world! And guess what? With God, you can!

Mandisa is so talented! She has all the songs that bring out the fighter in you! It's impossible to not feel motivated to achieve great things after listening to this song!

Definitely a preteen "poppy" song, but the beat is great for a workout and if you're running a little low on self-esteem, then the message is a great reminder that you are precious to God! You are more valuable than gold!

This song just screams survivor! Whether it's someone battling cancer, struggling with mental illness, facing unexpected tragedy or fighting to remain sober... This song is sure to bring out the warrior from within!

Amazing love!
Another song that brings a humble and heartfelt conviction. When you think of all that God has done and how unworthy we are - your heart sings "how can it be" with a posture of gratitude! 

22. Way Maker by Michael W. Smithft. Vanessa Capagna and Madelyn Berry 

Super popular song and for good reason! That chorus! 
"Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness, my God, that is who you are!"

A beautiful English and Spanish mash-up! These three voices together praising our Lord and Savior in bilingual brilliance! Oh, how God's creation is so magnificent. Take the time to appreciate the beauty of diversity!

Dear Heavenly Father, 

Thank you for a new week, new beginnings, and fresh starts. Help us to be grateful for Mondays. Every day is a blessing from you!

We thank you for the gift of music and the many people that you have blessed with the extraordinary talent of singing. We pray for each and every one of these artists on this playlist, Lord. 

We ask that you would continue to give them the courage to sing your praise in a world that seems to increasingly want to hear more and more vulgar lyrics. We pray that you would encourage us to support Christian artists and convict us of the songs we listen to. Help us to choose music that honors you!

We pray that you would walk with us today, this week, and forever. We thank you and praise your holy name!
