Monday Morning Motivation

Let's start this week off right!!

Dear Heavenly Father, 
As we begin a new week, help us to focus on you and the plans you have set before us.
Today is a fresh start. A clean slate. Another opportunity!
 If there are mistakes that we've made in the past week, help us to correct them moving forward. If there are choices that we are not proud of, help us to make wiser choices this week. 
Let us find peace and comfort in knowing that your mercies are new every morning. 
Let us express our gratitude for your grace by seeking to do what is pleasing to you. 
Walk with us every moment of every day. 
Surely, challenges will come. 
Please guide and direct us as navigate those struggles. 
Let us rejoice in our blessings and give all glory to you, Lord!
Use us to love, support, and encourage others. Gently remind us that we are your hands and feet. Open our hearts to follow your will. 
It's in your mighty name we pray!

What's one mistake you made last week that you are learning from this week? 
Example: Last week I was unavailable for my best friend. She needed an empathetic ear. Instead, I focused on my needs and let her down. This week I am focusing on loving my neighbor as myself. I'm asking God to help me keep his commands.
