A Prayer for Health and healing

Good Morning Friends!


A simple, yet powerful prayer. What do we have if we do not have our health? Whether it is physical, mental, emotional, financial or spiritual - we need every aspect of our health to be the best that it can be to achieve overall wellness.

For the next five weeks we will take time to pray specifically about each of the aforementioned areas of our health. This is the first post of the new series titled, "Surrendering Our Health." We are hopeful that God will use this series to transform all areas of our life and promote overall  wellbeing. Stayed tuned for a new post each week!

Today let's give God praise for our good health and lift up those that are struggling in this area.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for our physical health. We thank you for the amazing bodies you have designed and what they are capable of accomplishing! When we take the time to reflect on all of the intricacies of your creation, we are in awe and admiration. Lord, though on this Earth we will have physical pain and suffering, disease and illness, we can take heart for you have overcome this world. We look forward to a total and complete healing spent in an eternal Heaven with you.

Today, we ask that you provide relief for those that are suffering with all the illnesses that abound here on Earth. We pray that you would extend miraculous healing to everyone that comes to you in need. Lord, stretch out your mercy that Your Name be glorified through the supernatural healings given as only you can provide.

We thank you. We love you. We give you all praise!
